I’ve had an idea for a while of a beautiful slouch hat showcasing a lace panel that stretches along the complete length.

 

This is how I imagined it to be.

 

This is an ideal pattern if you would like to try a lace pattern without over committing :) It’s also perfect if you are new to charts (everything is written out as well).

 

The lace looks almost like a cable, but it’s not.

 

It reminded me of a river rushing over rocks, and so I named it the Stormy River Hat.
